So long Summer!

Well it’s the last day of August here in the UK and that means it’s a Bank Holiday Monday, it’s also a sunny one too, which is quite rare!

We hope you’ve had a fabulous summer and are now looking forward to all the cosy delights that Autumn brings – if you are a Patron you’ll have seen my post about our impending move (only to another part of the same town) and so I’ll be packing up the studio this week and hopefully have it up and running in the new house, by next week! This very much depends on how reliable the date given to us for the internet switch over is… I could be filming my next tutorial amidst packing boxes or in an empty house! LOL!

The next exciting news is that my Unbox & Build video of the delightful Bentley House Minis kit (The Hall Tree Stand) is just about to premier over on YouTube, I had great fun building and painting it and if you don’t already follow Ara on YouTube and Facebook make sure to follow the links in the video to do just that, and check out her kits in her online store too – they are fabulously unique and gloriously retro!

We have also uploaded to the free section of our website, this cute Cook Book Stand, which is a re-design of the Scribe’s Slope and the proportions are more suited to a book, rather than a scroll.

If you’d like to build the Cook Book Stand, watch the tutorial for the Scribe’s Slope as it’s exactly the same method, and of course you can make it larger or smaller to suit your preferred scale (just remember to keep the ratio box locked).

I’ve now finished the Medieval Tapestry and the videos for that will be published later this week – so keep an eye on your YouTube notifications and make sure to click subscribe if you haven’t already.
