Designed for atmospheric miniature interiors, this digital project creates a characterful cabinet that can become the focal point of a witch's cottage, apothecary, potion shop, fantasy room or magical miniature display.
But "witchy" doesn't have to mean Halloween.
We particularly love miniature magic that feels as though it belongs in a real home: old bottles collected over decades, bundles of dried herbs, handwritten labels, baskets, books, flowers, feathers and peculiar little objects whose purpose only their owner understands.
The cabinet provides the structure for creating exactly that sort of world.
Finish yours in dark traditional tones for an old apothecary, use aged paint for a cottage feel or choose completely unexpected colours. Add printed labels, decorative papers, painted symbols or other tiny embellishments to personalise the finished piece.
Then fill it.
That's when the cabinet really begins to tell a story.
Use miniature bottles and jars, folded papers, tiny books, crystals, herbs, beads, charms and anything else that looks intriguing at miniature scale. Everyday crafting leftovers can suddenly become mysterious objects when they're only a few millimetres tall.
This is a digital miniature furniture design; no finished physical cabinet or the decorative accessories shown in photographs are included.

This file is designed to be made in 1.5mm Basswood at 1/12th scale, but can easily be scaled up or down for 1/24th, 1/48th or even 1/6th scale providing you use thinner or thicker materials to suit.
It is also designed to be modular, so you can add multiple versions together to create a larger cabinet.
For your convenience, we’ve included both 1/12th scale files and 1/6th scale files in this bundle. Always make sure that the 1-inch green square measures 1 inch square as soon as you’ve uploaded your file into Design Space - that way your pieces will cut true to scale.
