Miniature Double Wardrobe SVG | 1:12 Scale Dollhouse Bedroom Furniture

£7.99

Create proper storage for your miniature residents with this classic Double Wardrobe design.

A substantial wardrobe can anchor an entire miniature bedroom and gives you plenty of opportunities to experiment with colour, finish and styling.

Use it alongside the Spellbound vintage bedroom furniture for a coordinated room or treat it as an individual piece and take the design in your own direction.

A traditional wood finish can create the appearance of an old inherited wardrobe, while painted finishes work beautifully in cottage and vintage interiors. Try faded creams, muted colours or something far more dramatic. Decorative paper can be used to add pattern and character, while tiny handles and other embellishments provide the finishing touches.

This is a digital miniature furniture project, rather than a finished physical wardrobe.

Because wardrobes are such familiar pieces of furniture, the details you add around them can do much of the storytelling.

Place a tiny suitcase on top. Hang a hat from the side. Add a basket of folded fabric nearby. Leave a pair of miniature shoes at the bottom. Suddenly the room belongs to somebody.

And because you're making the piece yourself, it doesn't need to look newly purchased. A little distressing, worn edges or layers of colour can give the impression that your wardrobe has existed in the miniature world for years.

It works equally well in traditional dollhouses, vintage bedrooms, cottages and more imaginative interiors. Darker finishes can take it towards gothic furniture, while lighter colours and florals produce an entirely different result.

Combine it with a bed, dressing table, bedside table and chest of drawers to create a complete miniature bedroom, or use it alone as a statement piece.

The design gives you the structure.

The paint, details, accessories and imagination are what turn it into furniture with a story.

This download includes both digital SVG files and printable PDF files, to make this gorgeous miniature Double Wardrobe, using your Cricut Maker machine, Laser Cutter or to cut by hand!
